Free Ostomy Bag Supplies

Ensuring no one manages their journey without the tools they need to live with dignity.

Ostomy bags must be changed regularly, and for many families in Nigeria the cost is out of reach. We source supplies through donations and partners such as Friends of Ostomates Worldwide–USA, then distribute them to registered beneficiaries directly and through hospital networks.

What we provide

  • Ostomy bags, pouches and related care supplies
  • Guidance on stoma care and where to get further help
  • Priority for those who cannot afford supplies

Community Outreach

Awareness leads to prevention and early detection.

We take colorectal cancer awareness and ostomy education into communities, working with churches, mosques, traditional leaders and health workers. Our outreaches explain warning signs, encourage screening and speak openly about life with a stoma to break the stigma.

How we reach people

  • Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month events in Abuja and Gombe
  • Survivors walks and market outreaches with partner organisations
  • Connecting people with screening and specialist services

School Advocacy

Building a generation that understands colon health.

We educate students and teachers on healthy habits, early warning signs of colorectal cancer, and respect for people living with an ostomy. The aim is prevention, earlier diagnosis and an end to stigma.

What a school session covers

  • Healthy eating, activity and bowel health
  • Warning signs, and why it is important to speak up early
  • What an ostomy is, and treating people who live with one with respect

Social Media & Digital Awareness

Reaching Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.

Through Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn we share survivor stories, answer questions and point people to help. Digital channels let us reach people who may be too ashamed to ask for help in person.

In April 2026 our CEO joined the Medicaid Cancer Foundation's "Beyond the Bag" Instagram Live, where colorectal cancer survivors shared their journey of healing and life after surgery.
