A foundation born from survival
MHFCO is a non-profit, non-political organisation registered in Nigeria. We support individuals and families through colorectal cancer diagnosis, ostomy care and ostomy management.

Our goal is to replace despair with hope.
My journey with the Maimurna Hope Foundation began not as a choice, but as a survival story. As a survivor of colorectal cancer, I walked a path defined by fear and uncertainty, yet God's grace saw me through to a life now lived with a permanent colostomy.
This foundation is the fruit of that experience: a non-political and not-for-profit mission born from a survivor's heart to ensure that no individual or family faces the practical and emotional challenges of cancer and ostomy care alone. Our goal is to replace despair with HOPE, providing a dedicated support system for those navigating similar crossroads.
Beyond personal support, we are committed to breaking the silence and stigma surrounding ostomy care through community education and strong advocacy for better health policies. From our headquarters in Abuja, we work to help individuals access affordable healthcare, medical specialists, and the essential supplies needed for a dignified life. By partnering with hospitals and global organisations, we are building a lasting legacy of care where awareness leads to prevention and every colorectal survivor and ostomate finds the strength to thrive.
